“After reading over 57 published articles, and numerous websites and thinly-disguised sales pitches, and thinking about the different implementations and products, the conclusion I reached was, in the end, inescapable. Digital oilfield does not exist.”
EnergySys Managing Director, Dr Peter Black, is bringing his much-debated ‘Digital Oilfield: Ten Years On’ paper to ECIM this September.
Following a well-received session at PNEC publication in external journals and over 200 downloads, Peter will be presenting the paper at The E&P Community for Data and Information Management (ECIM) Conference in Haugesund, Norway.
The session is part of the plenary program and will take place on the 13th of September 2016 at 10.40am.
The ECIM is a non-profit organisation, founded by members of the industry to seek and promote data management and information management, competence and best practices within the E&P industry.
Alongside Dr Black, the ECIM 2016 lineup includes speakers from ConocoPhillips, Schlumberger, ENGIE, Capgemini and Statoil.
