Forecast your performance
Forecasting economic performance has three typical stages in oil and gas companies. Information about reservoir performance, processing capacity and planned maintenance, is first used to predict fuel, flare and export quantities. Secondly, the addition of product yield information allows available for sale quantities to be forecast. Finally, forecast price information and contractual payment terms can be added to forecast revenue and short- to medium-term cashflow.

SAGE Terminal System Implementation with CHARM
Following the implementation of the core system, Accord developed a data visualisation tool by connecting PowerBI directly to STAR.
This provides the management team with a real-time view of a wide range of KPIs – e.g. forecast and actual revenue, production and capacity, emissions, outages. The tool allows users to query and represent their critical business data in the ways most useful to them. This drives real insights across the business and has proved extremely powerful in overall management and monitoring of the terminal performance.
With STAR as the hub of all production and revenue data, extending the visualisation is straightforward and can be performed by STAR business users.
New Zealand Offshore and Onshore Assets
Todd Energy’s aim was to counter an expected 30% decline in reservoir performance.
The goal was optimisation without drilling. But in fact, it has added >40% production over previous expectation.

Enhance your estimations
Estimation can span from reserves estimation to cost.
Accord have carried out feasibility studies on the application of the Kalman filter to the problem of estimating (and hence allocating) well production based on intermittent and possibly poor-quality measurement data from well tests. The technique recognises the increasing uncertainty in the estimated well flows as the time since the last well test elapses. It also utilises the additional measurement of the wells’ daily, aggregate, commingled production as it exits a process.
It can take advantage of process upsets in that when wells shut in, the commingled production of the remaining wells is measured and the drop in production is an estimate of the shut in wells. This information is smoothly incorporated into the well estimates and propagates forward in time.
